I’ve admired Killbean for a while and was keen to bring them into a future curation. As you know, I’m a big fan of Chinese coffee, and this feels like the pinnacle. It’s great to see a roaster with such a strong Yunnan focus. I stayed at the traditional end of their offer list so we can really bask in the terroir. Delicate grape, with soft cherry blossom florality - a coffee that sits firmly in the coffee–tea Venn diagram.
